Mitch Levitt Joins FKP

FKP Architects welcomes Mitchel R. Levitt, Associate AIA, ACHE, FSMPS as Senior Vice President. Levitt, who will be based in Columbus, Ohio, has more than 30 years of expertise in the design and consulting industry. He joins FKP’s business development team, leading strategic efforts in the health care and research space internationally.

His industry knowledge combined with an extensive marketing and business development background offers a tremendous asset as we broaden our market presence across the nation and aboard,” she concluded.

Mitch’s illustrious career has included positions as President and CEO at Karlsberger and National Director of Business Strategies at Burt Hill. At these national firms, he created and implemented programs that increased revenues from $15 million to $37 million in a ten year period and created a health care consulting division that garnered key projects. His previous work experience, as Principal-in-Charge, includes projects for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC; Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio; The Ohio State University Biomedical Research Tower in Columbus, Ohio; and All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Mitch is an alumnus of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Planning and Design. He is an Associate Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Institute of Architects. Mitch is also a fellow and life member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and is serving as co-chair for the organization’s 2011 national conference. Passionate about giving back to the community, Mitch has served on the boards of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, BalletMet, and Columbus Zoological Gardens. Among his many current volunteer efforts, he is on several committees for Columbus’ Grandview School District and leading the effort and fundraising to restore the district’s high school auditorium.
