The Institute includes a 12-floor addition, expanding patient care and research. A collaboration with Cromwell Architects, FKP was responsible for the programming and planning for this state-of-the-art facility.

To inform the design, FKP analyzed market assessments, strategic plans, future service volumes and business initiatives while determining how ambulatory care will look in the future for UAMS. FKP helped establish direction for outpatient care, organizational structure and business goals. FKP also developed a high-level review of existing facilities to determine needs to meet future volume projections.
