Rice University

Howard Keck Hall Renovations and Addition

FKP was asked to restore the brick and stone exterior and redesign and renovate the interior of this 1925 four-story chemistry building at Rice University to serve the biophysics and bioengineering departments. As part of the update, FKP created new "social" spaces for students and faculty to interact, supporting the university’s goal of encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and improving productivity.
