Andy Lewis is a registered architect with 16 years of healthcare design experience. As an equipment planner, he follows projects from design through construction administration with an attention to the functional placement of equipment and its integration into the overall department’s design. Andy is comfortable with 3D modeling, including quick studies using Sketch-Up and REVIT to facilitate the end users’ visioning of how the equipment will function in the new space. Andy’s healthcare planning skills and awareness of healthcare codes and LEED planning requirements bring a comprehensive perspective to the equipment planning process. Also, Andy’s ability to document and facilitate coordination between other members of the design team through drawings, technical data, and specifications minimizes design and construction conflicts and keeps projects on time and under budget. As a key member and project leader of several of the firm’s largest projects, Andy has demonstrated the ability to successfully manage the demands and requirements of several complex, multi-story facilities throughout their planning and construction.
